CONTENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS

Squarespace: An all-in-one platform that’s easy to use with modern features —designed for everyone, not just web designers.

Why Squarespace?

Any competent content management system (CMS) allows users to store, organize, and publish content—all from a central interface. We choose Squarespace because it’s so incredibly friendly.

SBP, Inc. is a Squarespace Circle Member. Squarespace Circle is a program designed to support, inspire, and engage the community of creatives, developers, and designers who use Squarespace to build beautiful websites for themselves and their clients. Circle members get longer trial periods, optimized customer support, access to exclusive content, and discounted rates! We extend our benefits to each of our clients.

CONTENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Simply put, a content management system (CMS) is a tool that allows people to edit text, photos and other files on a website, without having any technical/HTML knowledge. Because Squarespace is a hosted product, it means you can access the CMS from any web browser. All you do is log into your website, and you can edit to your heart's content.

FLEXIBLE

Unlike some website-building tools, Squarespace allows you to upscale or downscale your site with new features, control the layout of your pages on a page-by-page basis, or even switch your entire site to a completely different design - at any time, without needing to install any extras.

EASY

After a steep learning curve, Squarespace becomes really easy to use. It may not be the absolute simplest website builder, but I firmly believe it's one of the best products of its type. We have been working with similar products for the last 10 years, and we believe Squarespace offers the perfect combination of power, ease of use, and stunning design. Our clients love it!

HOSTED

Squarespace is a 'cloud' service, so you don't need to download or install any software, and you don't need to buy separate web hosting. You pay a subscription fee to Squarespace, and that covers your hosting as well as your access to the content management system, and you can rest assured that the Squarespace team will run regular maintenance and upgrades for you behind the scenes, without you needing to do anything. The good news is that a Squarespace subscription costs about the same as regular web hosting.

PAYMENT

Once you sign-on with SBP, Inc. in any capacity related to a website, our on-boarding team will either get a credit-card authorization form from you so we set-up all your service fess, or direct you to input your card info yourself. Because of our partnerships with Squarespace, you’ll get 20% off or more for on year subscription! Their incentives change so reach out to us today and we’ll get you the current special offer!

THE VIRTUAL MARKETPLACE IS RESHAPING RETAIL

Jul 23, 2019

Also known as e-commerce marketplaces, such sites may feature individual traders, large-scale manufacturers of goods, or anything in between.

CRAFTING YOUR CONTENT STRATEGY TO CREATE USEFUL CONTENT

Jul 15, 2019

Not all content types work for all audiences. For example, the content strategy for a B2B could be to create content that requires a considered decision, whereas content for a B2C may be to stimulate an impulse buy. In this case, the B2B content should focus on establishing an authoritative profile for that business and providing more educational resources (quadrant 1). B2C content, on the other hand, should target users with emotion (quadrant 4). This was put best by Richard Vaughn and his FCB grid(3).
